Parmesan
Fried Chicken
2
Fryers, cut up
Plain Bread Crumbs
Kraft Parmesan Cheese
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Vegetable Oil
Water
Wash
chickens well, cut up into pieces.
Mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic
powder in a bowl.
Mix bread crumbs and Parmensan cheese
in a bowl.
Put water in a bowl.
Heat oil in pot.
Dip
chicken pieces in water, then in flour,
back to the water and then in
bread crumb mixture. Allow to sit
on a plate for 10 minutes.
Place
a few pieces at a time in the hot
oil. Cook dark meat for 20 minutes
and white meat for 25 minutes. Drain
on paper toweling.
Allow
to cool and place in cooler for a
picnic with potato salad, devil
eggs, and raw vetegables.
We
take this to Hermann Park in Houston.
We also take it to the Miller Outdoor
Theater in Houston and eat on the
hill and watch Shakespeare plays.
This
would be a great picnic lunch around
your pond.

Crab or Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs

Hard boiled eggs
3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. black olives, minced
1/8 Tsp. dill weed
3 oz. smoked salmon
Pepper to taste
Smoked Salmon
Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove
yolks placing them in a medium sized
bowl. Add mayonnaise to yolks and
combine. Stir in olives and dill weed
and fold in the smoked salmon. Pepper
mixture to taste. Spoon mixture into
egg halves and garnish with paprika.
Refrigerate until firm. Makes 16 deviled
eggs.
