In many cases, threaded female adapters are used to adapt fish pond pumps and fish pond filters to hose. To select the proper hardware, select the properly sized hose barb/hose fitting. Then, select the appropriate sized Female Threaded Coupling. If the coupling selected is too large, choose the approriate Reducer Bushing that has the same sizes as the Female Coupling and the equipment.
