Male Adapters are used to connect Flexible Pond PVC to Pond Equipment. Unlike Male Adapters found at hardware stores, these Male Adapters have a deeper glue joint so the pressure from the pond pump does not blow the hose out of the fitting. The Flexible Pond PVC is glued into the Male Adapter and the Male Adapter is what is threaded into the pond equipment. Unlike flexible pond hose/tubing that uses hose clamps to hold the hose onto the fitting, Flexible Pond PVC uses PVC Primer and PVC Glue, just like regular residential/commercial PVC hard pipe and fittings.
