How is this product safe? I though I was not supposed to mix water and electricity?
As long as the hose is used in conjunction with a GFCI (ground fault circuit interupter) electrical outlet the ThermoHose Ice Free Garden Hose is perfectly safe. Should there be a problem posing threat the GFCI will trip.
If energy consumption is a concern, plug the hose in just 15 minutes prior to use.
