The Solution - Aqua-One pond water clarifier treats the cause of the problem, not the symptom, by ridding the water of excessive nutrients. Turbidity (suspended matter) problems in living aquatic ecosystems mainly result from algae blooms and other multicellular planktonics. Algae, while always present in healthy aquatic ecosystems, blooms when nutrient levels increase at rates greater than can be metabolized by bacteria. Decaying organic material and aquatic waste can also cause turbidity. When added to out-of-balance ponds, the microbes in Aqua-One consume the nutrients in the water. Aqua-One also accelerates the digestion of decaying organic and inorganic material.
