4 Stars Blue Damsel - 163 gallons

I finally got around to putting in this flexible pond this summer. It had been in the box for about 2-years. This thing was a "bear" to level. Aside from my being inept in constructing things ... or following directions? I think a major problem is the paper template that comes with the pond. It makes it extremely difficult to cut and locate, then add back sections and locate. A real bear to say the least. I would suggest template drawings that are posted on a cardboard or even plastic. It would make digging and getting the curvature of the shelves easier to deal with. Okay, the pond is level now, but there is some puckering at the very top, along the rim. Stones will hide those small imperfections. In hindsight, I would choose larger rigid pond; I may even try a liner next time. This will, however, do for now. And if you're better than I am with following templates, etc., then if nothing else, you'll love it for the reasonable price. My previous pond was an even smaller unit, but it was rigid - and that seems to be better.
