The top of the filter simply "snaps" on and off for easy cleaning and maintenance. There are NO Bands, Clips, or any other irritating mechanisms to deal with. Simply pull off the top, wash out the pads, and push the top back on. When you hear the "snap", the top is secure and the filter is ready again for operation!
How the filter works:
Water is mechanically filtered through the filter pads.
After mechanical filtration, the pond water is biologically filtered AND oxygenated in the bio chamber.
The clean, filtered water then re-enters the Garden Pond.
