How to build a Waterfall.......
Arranging the rocks is, of course,
a matter of preference...but
there are some guidelines
and tricks to make
the water flow nicely
and evenly and in
the volume desired
for the best effect.
Here are the two
most important tips:
1) Use a waterfall pump sized to produce 100
gallons per hour
at the top of the
waterfall (where
the water actually
starts to spill
over the rocks)
per inch of width
you would like covered
by water.
2) Avoid the typical effect of
a firehose where
the water shoots
out of the pipe
by using a waterfall spillway sized to the width
of the waterfall.
