Her Pond stinks!! |

| My Hairdresser's Pond....more Pond Poll Results....current Bargains...Fun (Pond) Fact |

|
My Hairdresser complained about her Pond stinking while cutting my hair...She said she was skimming out leaves and made a pile next to the Pond. Must have smelled pretty bad, her neighbor mentioned it when he saw her in the driveway! What makes a Pond stink? Lack of Oxygen!
If the Pond Pump is turned off during the winter and no Air Pump runs to get oxygen to the bottom of the Pond, then all the Beneficial Bacteria dies and only "anerobic" bacteria survives. Basically the same ones that make your garbage stink.
Not a real good situation for your Pond Fish, either!
How to fix it? Skim out leaves and sticks, vaccuum the bottom if possible, turn on the Pond Pump, add Beneficial Bacteria and innoculate the filter pads. In no time at all the pond will smell better and be on it's way back to health! |

Last Pond Poll results for this year!
These two questions asked: Have you ever shopped with us and was your experience a pleasant one?
61% of you said you have shopped with us, and two (less than 1 %) of those of you who have shopped with us were not happy!
Overall very good results, but not good enough!
If you are one of the two customers please contact us and let us know what problem you encountered. It will help solve yours and ours! |

Fun (Pond) Fact (TM)
If they have not already in your area, they will soon....
Frogs and Ponds will lay their eggs!
How to tell which is which?
Toad eggs are encased in long strings, Frog eggs are inside what can easily be described as "one big glob"! |
