Description
Scott Aerator DA20 Aerating Fountains are the perfect addition to any large pond or lake. They’re oil free motors are environmentally friendly, maintenance free, and designed for operation 24 hours/ 7 days a week or intermittent operation with a timer. Scott Aerator DA20 Aerating Fountains are suitable for ponds up to 3 acres in size. For ponds larger than 3 acres, multiple DA20 aerators can be used to aerate the entire body of water; i.e. for a 5 acre pond, use a 3 HP and a 2 HP DA20 aerating foutain.
All DA20 aerating fountains come ready to install. Each comes with a float, motor and housing, propeller, electrical cable, and plug. Although all units are shipped with a plug, DA20 aerating fountains can be hard wired into existing electrical systems if there is not a receptacle available.
DA20 aerating fountains increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen within the pond which decreases algae and vegetation growth as well as enhances the health of fish and other aquatic life within the pond.
DA20 aerating fountains need to be tethered with anchors (rope and anchors not included). Many folks installing DA20 aerating fountains use boat anchors and dock line to anchor their Scott Aerators.
All Scott Aerator DA20 aerating fountains are shipped with pre-installed heavy duty 12 gauge electrical cable, and, are also shipped ready to install. The only assembly required is attaching the float to the motor assembly which is done easily with 2 bolts and a socket wrench.
