Fish hiding?
Question:
We are treating our pond for string algae and lots of green fuzzy stuff on the bottom of our rocks with eco blast and since then we have not seen any of our gold fish, we did see the koi’s and they got scared and disappeared. what are we doing wrong?
Answer:
The reason your Pond Fish are hiding is probably not the product you are using (although we are not familiar with it). Usually fish hide because some sort of predator (owl, hawk, heron, raccoon) has scared them. Be sure to provide plenty of hiding places with plants and rocks for them and if necessary cover the pond with netting for a few days to discourage the intruder. Other deterrents are also available.
