Squirting water
Question:
My Cyprio Pressurized filter is squirting water through the cleaning indicator at the top of the filter. Should I replace the indicator or buy a new filter? I’m concerned that this may be a clue to the filter going bad.
Answer:
Occasionally the little gasket where you screw in the indicator becomes worn or flattened, allowing water to shoot out as you are experiencing. You can very easily replace this part and we do have a few in stock. I would like to let you know that Cyprio as of last summer, is no longer selling in North America. We have very limited supplies of Cyprio replacement parts. One special that we do have going right now is a Tetra Pressure Filter that is a very comaparable Filter to the Cyprio.
