Too many fish
Question:
I have too many fish. How can I get rid of them humanely? I tried pet stores, but to no avail
Answer:
There are many suggestions online on how to euthanize your fish humanely. In all honesty I have never used any of the methods that I found, so I can’t tell you whole heartedly which one would be the best.
I would suggest calling your local veterinarian and ask them what the most humane ways of putting down a fish are according to the American Veternary Medical Association (AVMA) and they should be able to tell you.
